Tree planting program

As part of our young tree planting program, 400 green and mountain maple saplings were planted along the Heart Alley, which leads to Băile Szejke, starting in 2007, over a period of 3-4 years, and the saplings that had dried up and broken were replaced.

One of our goals is to make the area more pleasant by providing shade for those who walk, play sports and ride a bike.

We also planted saplings of oak, mountain maple, tall ash and small-leaved linden trees along the road leading to the Székely Gates at Băile Szejke.

In 2022 we participated in the afforestation works, organized by the City Hall on the pasture under Szarkakő, thus contributing to the enrichment of the forested area of Odorheiu Secuiesc

In 2023 we planted 25 tall ash saplings, 25 small-leaved linden saplings and 25 mountain maple saplings in the Băile Szejke area. The maintenance of the saplings is carried out by the City Hall.
