In support of the small community of Iașu, in 2007 we bought a ruined farmhouse and completely renovated it.
With our help they founded the Association of Archers from Iașu and we handed them over the furnished community center, which is used for official and festive events in the village, as well as for baptisms, birthdays, weddings and burial feasts.
The foundation and inauguration of the association was attended by a delegation of Rotarians from Zürich.
During the inauguration ceremony with the guidance of Aunt Anna, 82 years old and honorary president of the association, the children presented a short dance and song show.
The community center was named after the main sponsor József Zihlmann (member of the Rotary Club of Zurich).
