IN MEMORIAM
Our friend, Tibor Bíró, from the northern area of the Ciuc basin joined our club in 2001 and soon took over the duties of secretary with great enthusiasm. He performed his volunteer tasks with the same enthusiasm as he used to do at the high school math challenge, and then, as the managing director of the entrepreneurs’ association, the organization of exhibitions at international level, or the regular, indispensable football games with friends. As a member of the Venyige folk dance ensemble, he brought the rediscovered Hungarian folk dances to the stages of Transylvania. The disease which had attacked him mercilessly did not trouble him for long, and as soon as he realized what it was, he made peace with it. In his last years, he enjoyed doing things in the chapel at the end of town. His exemplary community dedication and the anxious love of his family gave us a true Rotarian spirit.
