Sándor SZAKÁCS

I was born in Târgu Secuiesc, but I have been living in Odorheiu Secuiesc for more than 45 years.

I graduated from the Faculty of Forest Engineering of the University of Brasov in 1977 as a certified forest engineer.

My first employment was at Zetea Forestry, where I was technical manager until 1990, then head of forestry from 1990.

From 1999 I was the head of Odorheiu Secuiesc Forestry.

In 2001 I was a founding member and president of the forestry section of the Hungarian Technical Scientific Society of Transylvania.

In 2008 I founded the Odorheiu Secuiesc Private Forestry, the head of which I was until my retirement in 2018.

In 2010 I was the founder and president of the Transylvanian local team of the National Forestry Association.

I am married, I have two daughters and 7 grandchildren.

I have been a member of the Rotary Club Odorheiu Secuiesc since 2006, of which I was president in 2018-2019.
