László KOVÁCS

I was born in Odorheiu Secuiesc in 1960, graduated from the music school in Cluj-Napoca, then taught piano and clarinet at the music primary school in Odorheiu Secuiesc.

I was a member of the Cantilena choir, the Passió, Féder, Kronos, Gránit bands, the People’s Theatre, the local brass band. I graduated in music pedagogy in 2005.

In 1993 I founded the Alla Breve Mixed Choir. Between 1999 and 2019 I led the Szekler Song Society, and since 2021 I have been the conductor of the Ferenc Balázs Mixed Choir.

My wife, Katalin, passed away in 2013. Since 2014 my partner is Csilla. My children: Attila, László, Regő. My grandchildren: Zselyke, Ágnes, Tamás, Balázs.

I run a children’s toy business.

I have been a member of the Rotary Club Odorheiu Secuiesc since 2021.
