16 October 2024 – World Bread and Food Day
For 11 years now, on the occasion of World Bread and Food Day, we have organized a special action aimed at supporting families in need. On October 16, we will help the Nagycsaládosok Egyesülete (Association of Large Families) by collecting non-perishable food so that fresh, nutritious nourishment can be put on the tables of large families living in difficult situations.
The aim of the action is:
The aim of the collection is to provide as many families in need as possible with food essential for everyday life through the Nagycsaládosok Egyesülete (Association of Large Families) of Udvarhelyszék. With the collected non-perishable food, we want to contribute to the daily livelihood of families, especially children, for whom regular, proper nutrition is especially important.
Why is participation important?
Access to food is everyone’s responsibility. Families in need often have difficulty getting even the most necessary food. But through community collaboration, we can alleviate their difficulties on this special day and in the cold months ahead.
