Donating teqball tables to primary schools for creating a mass base for the new sport

We would like to promote one of the successful sports of our city, Teqball. Since there are national, European and world champions in our city, they are very good role models for young people.

We donated a Teqball table with three balls to each foundation/association operating next to elementary schools in Odorheiu Secuiesc.

The education  is provided by the Gobé Teqball Team at the Rákóczi Center:

• Theoretical education, methodology: 2 x 4 hours
• Practical training: 2 x 4 hours

At the handover of the tables, the Gobé Teqball Team presented all the possibilities of using the equipment.

We asked school boards to provide a space for table use with training facilities and to support the organization of school championships in boys’ and girls’ singles, doubles and mixed categories every April for five years.

Our club organizes the city championship with the Gobé Teqball Team every May. School and city champions will be awarded by our club after each event.

We very much hope that with this action we will successfully support this group of young people of our city.

Since Teqball could be an Olympic sport at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, we can hope for the birth of another Olympic athlete from Odorheiu Secuiesc.
