Áron VASS

I was born in Dealu in 1956.

I completed my elementary classes in my native village, and the iron turning vocational school and vocational secondary school in Odorheiu Secuiesc. I graduated from the Faculty of Machine Manufacturing of the Technical University of Brasov with a degree in mechanical engineering.

I spent 5 years at the Matrița factory in Odorheiu Secuiesc as a technologist engineer, then 3 years at the Furniture Factory in Odorheiu Secuiesc as chief engineer.

In 1991 I participated in the establishment of Nyko srl., specializing in welded metal structures, as a 50% shareholder, in which I still act as managing director. The number of our employees is around 100. 98% of production is export.

I have been a member of the Rotary Club Odorheiu Secuiesc since November 2013.

In 2016-2017 I was secretary of the club and then in 2023-2024 I was its president.
